At AquaKlor Prairies, we understand the importance of keeping your pets—and the people who care for them—safe, healthy, and happy. We’re proud to be the Western Canadian distributor of AquaKlor, a revolutionary sanitation solution that’s approved by Health Canada and trusted by pet boarding and training facilities across the region.

Our journey began with a personal story.

In 2014, after the heartbreaking loss of our beloved pets to parvovirus, we knew there had to be a better way to protect the animals we love. Bleach and harsh chemicals weren’t cutting it—they were damaging, corrosive, and often unsafe for pets and families. That experience set us on a mission to find a safer, more effective alternative.

Driven by our love for animals and a desire to create a cleaner, safer environment, we discovered AquaKlor—a one-step, no-rinse disinfectant that’s biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and gentle on pets, people, and plants. It eliminates odours, kills bacteria in seconds, and viruses in minutes—all without the need for mixing or rinsing.

We’re Catherine and Ed Christensen—animal lovers, multiple-pet owners, and proud grandparents—based in Standard, Alberta. With the approval of our personal veterinarian and the confidence that AquaKlor is both effective and safe, we’ve made it our mission to help other families and facilities keep their spaces clean and their pets protected.
